The Kroisos

Summer 2010 for The Kroisos was looking out to be busy few weeks ago. In Kroisos scale, 3 booked weekends for summer festivals etc is a big thing. But as you might have noticed only 2 gigs will be played because of a cancellations by the band.

Band members have changed jobs this spring and already booked gigs were impossible to play – new tasks are so demanding.  Sorry, and you all understand, I know.

Also I , as a player-“general manager” of a band, will quit doing things background with organizing events, selling them, taking economical risks, doing necessary paper work, being in contact with ppl… In future I will concentrate in my family and my job (whatever it will be).

So The Kroisos will go into SILENT-mode from now on. We will play if demand and economical needs collide and most of all, if we have time. No one is selling us and that is the way it goes. No one should sell us now indeed cause we ll cancel anyway. ( and in fact most of the shows sold for summer were offers from festivals…isnt it good?)

We ll record songs if we have time and inspiration. River is dry now and let s wait when it rains again.

Relations inside of the band are good now – we have faced some shitty times too…dont ask me!

Only two gigs this year, and we re happy to play and rehearse on sunday. That is good feeling.

Everything is open.

So to say, The Band will go on forever, but in future I ll be only the bad guitar player in the band,and not the contact person or whatsoever. And I never had a dream to be a huge rock star, I just wanted to make record with these guys without egoshit, just write and have fun. And we had fun. And made the cd without egoshit. I hope to make at least one more, but not today.
